Savannah of “Retirement Care Solutions” was employed by my mum to help her move from her home to Independent living in December. I have nothing but praise for Savannah who has bent over backwards to helping mums transition run smoothly.

She has from day one helped mum understand the paperwork she has had to do with selling her home, advised her on what retirement homes where in the vicinity that mum wanted to be in, and made the various appointments.

Savannah has driven Mum to the Villages that she wanted to look at, doing all this in times that suited us. She explained the differences between each village visited and the costs, services provided, and paperwork.

Savannah has taken the time to talk with mum and family on the payback systems of each village and the decisions that can be made for the future wellbeing of Mum.

Once Mum chose her new accommodation Savannah once again stepped us through the process in terms that we could understand, Savannah was always in contact with me regarding whatever was going on, she arranged Solicitors for mums conveyancing and later for other personal issues. Savannah also arranged:

  • Removalists
  • Electricity
  • Phone
  • Foxtel (which proved to be the hardest)
  • Early entry license to move her possession into the unit before settlement date.
  • In doing this it eased mums stress levels immensely, and OURS!

Savannah was there on removal day at the house and also used her vehicle for a load of mums special things so they would not get damaged, helping also to unpack the smaller items from the removalists truck to help save on costs.

I cannot give Savannah enough credit. She has put 110% of her time to ensure mums move to her new home was as stress free as she could make it.

I would highly recommend Savannah for anything she takes on her knowledge of the Industry is immense.
